JAG - Fill U Up Episode 5
June 27, 2008 11:07 AM PDT
This mix starts with a tech-house feel and progresses into a really rapid driving mix. It was inspired by Ritchie Hawtin's amazing set at DEMF this year. The last song on the mix is a favorite of mine that I have been holding on to for the right moment. It's called "waschmachine". I will have another post in a few days, stay tuned and thanks for listening.

About JAGAs a student of music from the UK to Detroit, JAG takes pride in his ability to mix main stream european house tracks with the deeper darker side of the detroit electronic music scene. In this podcast I feature only live mixes done by myself. Most tracks have been harmonically mixed to add an extra element of precision to the collection. Most of my work focuses on crossover preformances implementing similar but elementally drastic shifts between genres. I feel this sound captures the true scope of the electronic music scene. The long dips and rises of house music, strait tribal drums, and the subtle shifts of minimal and techno all blend to create a unique emotional shift through the mix.
